                                          Another Day Closes

The sun has set and it is beginning to get dark a little earlier each night.  The birds
have nested down and quiet except for the occasional chirp of the hummingbirds
they are feeding babies before dark.

We have a Doe wandering around the back woods and heading for the pond for a drink
of water.  There is a Buck occasionally to check out the territory.  I am such a sucker
for wildlife and nature in the raw.

This is the Little things that brings love into your life.  If you can't look around and
see what is around you and find a spot of love in your heart, maybe you should go
take a walk in the woods and look for that spot of love.

Our children and grandchildren loved going on the Sunday afternoon walks in the area
parks.  The beach is another place they loved and found all the sea treasures washed
upon the shoreline.

I love my time of being able to sit and share my happy memories of raising our children and the exciting times of being a Grandmother and teaching the little ones
the simple joys.  As adults our Grandchildren will tell us how much fun they had as
a kid learning to paint, draw, sing silly songs, playing with the water hose on a very
hot day.

As I learn to use the Blog and get my pictures to cooperate  and end up where they are
to go I will be posting visual happiness of mine and my husbands.

We have  been privileged to travel some and we often share thoughts of those days of
exploring and meeting new people of interest.  My greatest trip of all times was our trip to Isreal.  Someone told us, "You will never be the same after you return." and
they couldn't have been more right.

The porch swing is calling my name so I will go and enjoy the little bit of daylight and
think about my day.

Love to you all.
